Fire service rescue Harrogate woman stuck in hedge whilst out walking

A woman needed to be rescued by North Yorkshire Fire Service after getting stuck in a privet hedge in Harrogate yesterday morning.

The woman, in her 50s, was walking near Tewit Well Road at around 8.20am on Sunday (March 13), when she fell through the hedge.

North Yorkshire and Fire Rescue Service were called, as well as Yorkshire Ambulance, to help the woman who had become trapped in the hedge.

Fire crews assisted the ambulance colleagues to release the person using small tools before leaving her in the hands of paramedics.

An ambulance then took her to Harrogate and District Hospital.
