Thundery shower breaks out over Harrogate
Thunder could be heard booming across the district today as heavy rain began to fall after months of soaring temperatures.
The showers of rain began around 4.45pm today, (Monday, July 16) and is expected to continue throughout the evening, according to the Met Office.
Although it is expected to be cloudy tomorrow it is believed conditions will improve, with bright spells in the evening. This is expected to continue throughout the week.
