Former Ashville College student, Ben Greenwood visited a group of the schools pupils at the time to give them a masterclass in animation.

Having worked on the animation team for both Creature Comforts and Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit, Ben had the expertise to give students a professional edge.

The visit was part of the week-long Arts Festival at Ashville where students were given a break from their regular curriculum to experience a variety of arts and entertainment.

Co-ordinator of the week, John Dunford, said at the time: “Arts Week is all about variety and celebrating the richness and diversity of the Arts.

“Ben’s workshop fits in beautifully with this and we all looked forward to welcoming back this old Ashvillian.”
