Darth Vader landed at Harrogate College’s Bistro on the Park for a special Star Wars Night celebration.

With May 4 being a huge day for fans of the classic Star Wars films, the team at Bistro on the Park decided to host a Star Wars Night as one of its bi-monthly themed evenings.

The team welcomed 70 guests, including Darth Vader, Princess Leia and a squadron of Storm Troopers from the Sentinel Squad UK.

Debra Forsythe-Conroy, Harrogate College principal, said: “It was absolutely brilliant to have the Storm Troopers attend the event. It made it really family friendly and the kids had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and service rivalled that of high street restaurants. We’re already looking forward to Spanish Night.”

The event raised £246.36 for the Magic Moments for Autistic Kids charity.

Grace Todd, who was among the guests, said: “We had a superb time at Star Wars Night; the atmosphere was buzzing in the bistro and cars were stopping on Hornbeam Park to have their photos taken with the Storm Troopers.”

The team at Bistro on the Park would like to thank customers for their support and donations to the charity.
