Starbeck Library to welcome author

The Friends of Starbeck Library have announced their first author event.

On Saturday, October 25 North Yorkshire-based author Andy Seed will be giving a talk at the library.

Andy, a former teacher turned-author has written over 20 books including the bestselling All Teachers trilogy of memoirs for adults and a range of titles for children.

A library spokesperson said: “He will be sharing the hilarious tales of woe from his days in teaching as well as talking about what he gets up to these days which includes the fast and funny Reading Show, aimed at encouraging children to read for pleasure.”

The talk starts at 2.30pm and tickets are £2.50 each (to include refreshments).
