Organised and funded by the Starbeck Gala and Lights Committee, the lights will be switched on at 6pm on Saturday (November 26) at the St Andrew's Church Welcome Centre.

To warm up for the lights and to get into the festive spirit that bit earlier, visitors can enjoy a Christmas fair from 12pm to 6pm.

The fair will boast a variety of stalls, including food and drink stands. The Lights Committee said "there is something for all the family this year", with a Santa's grotto, a bouncy castle, and a prize raffle.
