Spooky scarecrow trail at Mother Shipton's Cave

Witches and scarecrows are on show at Mother Shipton's Cave all this week until Sunday, October 30.

Children will have the chance to follow a spooky scarecrow trail to solve the mysteries and scare away things that go bump in the day.

There will be free face painting every day, plus a daily costume competition at 1pm with lots of prizes.

A Mother Shipton’s Cave spokesman said: “Come along in your best Halloween costume – it all adds to the fun at this most spooktacular time of the year. Expect the unexpected, but never be afraid!”
