Special taster night for Explorer Scouts

The new Explorer Scout group, called Trident Explorers, will provide adventure -based activities and access to the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

Explorer Scouts are aged between 14 and 18 and take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging.

Harry Shires, district media manager, said: “We would like to encourage all 14-18 year olds in Bridlington and surrounding areas to come along to our very special taster night between the times of 7.30pm and 9.30pm on 17 March at the St John Burlington Church.

“Come and experience the ride of a lifetime with your friends and discover what Scouting can do for you.”

An Explorer Scout section meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. In the coming weeks the young people will be involved in an adventure packed programme designed to fire the imagination.
