Here's an assessment of how Simon Weaver's players performed on their way to a 2-0 reverse.

James Belshaw 6/10. Left horribly exposed for the opening goal. Got a hand to Adi Yussuf’s late penalty, but couldn't quite manage to prevent the ball from crossing the line.

Ryan Fallowfield 6. Wasn’t able to get forward as much as he would have liked, meaning Town lacked width down the right.

Callum Howe 7. Didn’t do too much wrong, though couldn’t dominate the Solihull strikers in the fashion that team-mates and fans have become accustomed to.

Kelvin Langmead 7. A couple of crucial interventions inside his own box, some well-timed tackles and went close with a first-half header.

Warren Burrell 6. An uncomfortable evening playing out of position at left-back.

George Thomson 6. His deliveries from the right flank lacked their usual quality. Never really got into the game.

Josh Falkingham 6. As tenacious as ever, but unable to dictate the tempo of the match from the centre of the park.

Jack Emmett 6. It just wasn’t his night. Fairly well-shackled by the home midfielders.

Joe Leesley 7. One excellent cross from the right should have led to a goal for Kelvin Langmead. Narrowly wide with a second-half free-kick.

Mark Beck 6. Had to endure Solihull’s centre-halves climbing all over him throughout the evening, which meant that he couldn't influence the game in the same way he has done in recent weeks.

Jack Muldoon 7. ADVERTISER STAR MAN. His pace and willingness to run in behind caused Moors a number of problems.

Substitutes: Dominic Knowles 6. (On for Beck, 63).

Michael Woods 6. (On for Muldoon, 63).

Aaron Williams N/A. (On for Thomson, 75).
