Summer sunshine brought the crowds to Pannal Gala last weekend with hundreds of people turning out.
The annual gala day, rained off for two of the past three years, was brought forward to Sunday from its usual Bank Holiday August date.
And with temperatures topping the mid to late 20s on Sunday, organisers have said it was a “great success”.
“It was a really great atmosphere,” said Brian Hunt, chairman of Pannal Cricket Club.
“Everything ran to timetable, and we didn’t run out of beers or ice cream!.”
