In total, 280 people packed into The Old Swan Hotel to hear former Tykes batsman Vaughan speaking for more than an hour.
This included a Q&A session with the audience, covering subjects from England’s Ashes victory over Australia in 2005, his appearance on TV show Strictly Come Dancing and working on Test Match Special with Jonathan Agnew and Geoff Boycott.

Hide AdCurrent Yorkshire players Karl Carver, Will Rhodes and Ben Coad were also present, along with Dave Callaghan, BBC Radio Leeds’ cricket correspondent, who compered the Q&A session.
Richard Parker, event organiser, said: “This year’s event was one of the most popular in recent times much due to our guest speaker, Michael Vaughan and the power of his reputation.”
The evening was held in conjunction with Chance to Shine Cricket Charity and was sponsored by Taylors Tea, Waitrose and Q4 Bathrooms.
