Today is the 20th anniversary of the day Princess Diana died, and memories of her visits to Harrogate have been recalled by those who met her.

The current mayor of Harrogate, Coun Anne Jones and her husband, the Mayor’s Consort, Steve Jones hosted the Princess’s visit to Henshaws College in Starbeck in 1989, where Mr Jones was Principal at the time.
