A round of a-paws as Ripley hotel is voted UK's best for pets
A popular venue in North Yorkshire has taken the coveted title of the UK's best pet friendly hotel.
The Boar’s Head in Ripley took the prestigious accolade in LateRooms.com’s Simply the Guest Awards 2016.
The LateRooms.com annual Simply The Guest Awards recognise and reward the highest standards in the hotel industry across a number of categories and are the only ones in the UK to focus solely on reviews and ratings left by guests.
The Boar’s Head is a former coaching inn and part of the historic Ripley Castle estate.
Set in an area of natural beauty, there are beautiful walks for pooches and their owners nearby.
Lady Ingilby, owner of Ripley Castle and The Boar’s Head Hotel, said: “We always make sure our guests and their furry friends are at the heart of everything we do. We all strive to achieve the very best we can and until everything is perfect, we won’t rest.
“This award is a fantastic achievement and I’m very proud of my team for helping to secure this for our stunning hotel.
“I’m personally looking forward to meeting many more dogs and their owners this year and hopefully we’ll get just as many wonderfully kind reviews for us to retain this award again.”
LateRooms.com spokeswoman, Andrea Tarpey, said: “Guest experience is the single most important measure of how well a hotel is performing and being named as a Simply The Guest Awards winner places The Boar’s Head firmly as the nation’s best loved pet friendly hotel.”
