Ripon set for 2015 St Wilfrid’s Procession

The procession will assemble at 1.30pm, and head through the Market Square at 2pm. Lamp posts will detail the route.

The procession ends with a service at Ripon cathedral at 4.30pm. Some roads will be closed for a short time.

Visitors will, once again, have the opportunity to watch in awe as St Wilfrid and his monks parade through the market place and into the city.

This year’s 54th annual event will include a range of entertainment and activities for all the family, in addition to its famous array of floats.
