Foodies Festival, the UK’s biggest celebration of food and drink, celebrates Yorkshire produce and top chefs as part of its 10th anniversary celebration tour.

Harrogate’s Ripley Castle will be transformed into a foodie heaven from this Friday to Sunday, with a feast of Michelin-star and celebrity chefs, award winning artisan producers, food and drink masterclasses and street food.

Known as the ‘food, fun and friends’ festival, foodies of all levels – experienced gourmands and amateur home cooks – will find something to tantalises their taste buds.

The Aga Rangemaster Chefs Theatre welcomes celebrity and regional chefs, who will cook their favourite summer recipes, inspiring visitors to recreate these dishes at home and experiment with new flavours and ingredients.

Chefs confirmed include celebrity chefs Rosemary Schrager and Rachel Green, and MasterChef 2014 winner Ping Coombes,

Festival director Sue Hitchen said: “With over 200 artisan producers to shop from, with a Deliciously Yorkshire section, visitors will be spoilt for choice with samples and for what to buy to take home and enjoy”.

Highlights will include a cake and bake theatre, street food avenue, chilli market and children’s cookery.
