Individual Billiards Trophy: former Ripley Castle head gardener Paul Bramley was the winner of the 2013 Individual Billiards Trophy recently played for at the Ripley Star Club. The splendid trophy was originally presented to the Ripley Mechanics and Literary Institute by Major WH Ingilby in 1913 and with the exception of some war years has been contested at the town hall every year since. Paul triumphed over former Star Club secretary Ian Morrell in the final.

Ripley Blues: we have a great start to June with two fine solo artists appearing in a double header on Saturday, June 1 in our upstairs Blues Room. First up is Lucy Zirins who recently wowed a large audience at the Burnley International Festival followed by the powerhouse one man band that is John Crampton.
