Revealed: New parliamentary candidate for Harrogate and Knaresborough Lib Dems
Members have chosen barrister Judith Rogerson, who specialises in representing patients, medical practitioners and the NHS.
Judith said, “I am thrilled to have been selected to represent Liberal Democrat values in this part of the country that is so special to me. I will work hard for the constituency and I am committed to promoting and fighting for the things that are important to us on both the local and national stage."

Hide AdSpeaking about some of her local and national concerns, Judith said: "Brexit is a national issue that affects everyone, and it will affect Harrogate and Knaresborough as much as anywhere else in the country. On a more local level, another thing that's really important to me is healthcare and the NHS.
"By definition, my work means that I get involved when things go wrong. I see problems for patients and represent them, so making sure that this area has got really good healthcare is something that I am really passionate about."
Constituency chairman, Geoff Webber, said: “We are very lucky to have someone as able as Judith as our new parliamentary candidate and we look forward to campaigning with her from now until the next general election.”
