Only hustings event for Harrogate candidates at election revealed

The first - and only - hustings event so far in Harrogate is taking place at Harrogate Grammar School next week ahead of the upcoming General Election.

These are the shops and restaurants that have closed in Harrogate in recent yearsConservative candidate Andrew Jones, Lib Dem candidate Judith Rogerson, Yorkshire Party candidate Kieran George and a representative for Labour candidate Mark Sewards will be in attendance on Monday morning to give a speech and answer questions.

The event will not be open to the public however and is aimed at Year 13 pupils at the school, as those who are 18 will be voting for the first time in the December election.
