Annual own council meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Town Council will now take place on Thursday May 28.

Town clerk Iona Taylor said: “If it is safe and legal to do so then the meeting will be held in person, probably at the Town Hall.

“If this is able to happen, then the Annual Town Meeting (a meeting of the electors of Wetherby) will also take place that night.

“If Coronavirus restrictions are still in place then only the Annual Town Council meeting will go ahead on Zoom.

“Joining instructions will be publicised nearer the time if this route is taken.”

Meetings of the Council’s committees are going ahead as usual on Zoom.
