Police investigating suspected arson attack at Kirkby Malzeard pub
Police are investigating a suspected arson attack at the Henry Jenkins pub in Kirkby Malzeard on Friday night.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 9:09pm. A North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Crews from Masham and Ripon were mobilised to a report of a fire under the floorboards of a derelict building. Crews extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, small tools and a thermal imaging camera. Cause is believed to be deliberate ignition."
