But two journalists with The Scarborough News were within feet of movie star Tom Cruise today.

Louise Perrin and Richard Ponter had gone off to Pickering after hearing that filming of Mission Impossible 7 was taking place at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

The 58-year-old A-lister had travelled by helicopter and was spotted at Pickering yesterday.

Yesterday and today, filming took place at the railway's Levisham station, and our team was there as Tom took a break from filming and walked off for lunch. He was happy to wave to our camera.
