Travel agent sees interest soar in holiday bookings
Spa Travel partner Paul Dayson told the Wetherby News that within hours of the announcement, bookings had grown.
He said: “We definitely saw a better pick up on bookings interest before the Government’s statement and now we have dates, we are expecting increased demand for bookings. Only today, the day after the announcement, we had lots of phone calls for summer breaks, only tentative but it is positive.

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson said a global travel taskforce would put forward a report by April 12 on how to return to international travel.
And the Government would then make a decision on removing restrictions on international travel, but not before May 17 at the earliest.
Mr Dayson added: “I think the demand will be in a few weeks when people have had chance to take all the dates.”
