Town parking permits sale

Pateley Bridge shoppers parking permits go on sale on Saturday May 22.

Following the extension of last year’s parking permits to May 31 2021, the permits for 2021-2022 will be on sale on from 10am-4pm in the town’s Memorial Hall.

The cost remains at £12 per permit which can include two vehicle registration numbers.

Pateley Bridge Town Council is encouraging people, where possible, to download a form and complete a form to take along on the day.

Payment can be made by cheque (made payable to Pateley Bridge Town Council), card or cash, and take a note of the car registration.

“The Hall will be a Covid-secure environment,” said a Town Council spokesman.

“You will be asked to wear a mask and may have to queue outside the hall.

“The toilets will not be available and you will need to bring your own pen to complete a contact form.”

After May 22 parking permits will be available from Nidderdale Plus, Station Square, King Street from 10am-4pm Monday to Friday and 10am-1pm on Saturdays.

In the meantime, shoppers can also receive a permit via the post. Send a SAE, name and address, telephone number and car registration number(s), and either cash or a cheque made payable to ‘Pateley Bridge Town Council’ to: Pateley Bridge Town Council, The Council Chamber, King Street, Pateley Bridge HG3 5LE.
