'Totally feel-good' 9 to 5 The Musical by RAOS Musical Theatre Company wows audiences at Harrogate Theatre
RAOS Musical Theatre Company is wowing audiences at Harrogate Theatre this week with its sparkling new show.
The Ripon-based theatre company opened its new production of the smash-hit 9 to 5 The Musical on Wednesday and will finish the run on Saturday, April 18.
Based on the iconic 1980s Hollywood film starring Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, 9 to 5 The Musical is a hilarious, empowering story of three working women who take on their egotistical boss and turn the workplace upside down.
High-energy and totally feel-good, the show is packed with big laughs, bold choreography, and toe-tapping songs written especially for the stage by Dolly Parton herself, this production promises an unforgettable night of musical theatre.
Set in the late 1970s, the show blends sharp comedy with themes that still resonate today - workplace equality, friendship, ambition and standing up for what’s right - all delivered with warmth, wit and sparkle.
The team that brought you Calendar Girls the Musical and Sister Act, RAOS Musical Theatre Company is known for producing high-quality, professional-standard amateur theatre and has built a strong reputation for creating fun, heartwarming and outstanding performances.
This latest show brings together a large cast, vibrant costumes, and a live band to create a full West End-style experience at Harrogate Theatre.
