Top indie acts to perform at Harrogate music fans’ 'favourite festival of the summer '
It is just days until the launch of Harrogate music fans’ favourite festival of the summer - and a “wonderland of creativity”.
Following last year’s sell-out 15th anniversary celebration featuring old friends and new; Deer Shed are looking to the future of music with a diverse showcase of emergent and rising acts from across the musical spectrum.
An independent and family-owned enterprise since its inception back in 2010, Deer Shed Festival in the beautiful grounds of Baldersby Park at Topcliffe near Thirsk now attracts an annual audience of 10,000.
Running from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, this weekend’s headliners will include Sleaford Mods, Say She She and Everything Everything – with a fantastic array of other music, comedy and literary acts on the bill for this most civilised of festivals.

Also on the Deer Shed programme are The Twilight Sad, Jasmine 4.T, Fat Dog, Bar Italia, DEADLETTER, Lambrini Girls, Getdown Services, Bill Ryder-Jones, Lime Garden, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Murkage Dave, Natalie Wildgoose, and DJ Rory Hoy.
Megan Evans, Deer Shed Festival Director, said: “I’m so excited about this group of artists and can’t wait for our audience to see them in the park.
"We’ve plenty in store for everyone, including comedy, sport, arts, and some truly mind-boggling labyrinthine installations!”
The comedy headliners will include comedy icon Stewart Lee, beloved broadcaster Adam Buxton with his band and Mash Report star Rachel Parris.
In 2023 Deer Shed won the Festival of the Year award at the LIVE Awards.
