School swimmer grows hair for charity

Wetherby-based Abby Strachan used the lockdown earlier this year to grow her hair for the Little Princess Trust. Having previously done this six years ago in primary school, donating a foot of her hair, she saw it as another opportunity to help the charity out. As a swimmer on her schools swimming team at GSAL, she had to keep her hair shorter, but used five month shielding during lockdown to grow it longer again to help the charity. Michael Pearson at All About Hair immediately jumped in to offer her a free haircut to support the cause, and today she left the salon beaming, after an amazing transformation by stylist Keely Jackson. Another foot of hair will be heading to the charity to make wigs for children with cancer. To support the charity, go to https://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/
