Scarecrow fest for Christian Aid

Bickerton Chatterbox social group held a scarecrow competition which raised £311.13 in aid of Christian Aid over the Bank Holiday weekend when 80 households presented 31 creations. All residents were invited to vote for their favourite and in a close-run race the winner was Mary Poppins created by Donna Kirk. Organiser Joyce Harrison thanked everyone.
