Protest at Harrogate Hospital for NHS 72nd anniversary
While the Prime Minister and much of the rest of the country marked the anniversary with a nationwide clap at 5pm yesterday, Sunday, members of the Keep our NHS Public, Harrogate held their own short celebration a day earlier.
The small socially-distanced celebration was held outside Harrogate District Hospital at 11am on Saturday, July 4.

Hide AdA spokesperson for the group said: "The NHS needs more than a clap. Public health needs to be fully funded, and brought back into public hands.
"We want to expose the Government's failures, their privatisation agenda, their many cuts to the NHS and their failure to prepare for the pandemic, which have cost so many lives.
"We are asking for privatisation of testing, tracing and the supply of equipment to be brought back into public ownership and under local control."
