We take a look at 30 small animals that are currently looking for their forever home at the RSPCA York, Harrogate and District branch…
5. Malia
Malia is a three-year-old domestic short haired who came to the centre via an inspector after her needs were not getting met. Unfortunately this has left her very nervous and shy with people she does not know but she has come on so much since first arriving at the centre. Malia is slowly beginning to understand and learn that life with people is not all that bad after all. She will need adopters who lead a quiet lifestyle and who will let her settle in her own time. Malia really does deserve her happy ever after. Photo: RSPCA
6. Del and RJ
Del and RJ are rats who are sweet boys that came to the centre via an inspector after their needs were not getting met. Once they are out of their cage they are friendly but they can be a bit protective when they are in their cage. They could live with experienced children aged 13 years and over. Photo: RSPCA
7. Scott
Scott is a five-year-old domestic short haired who came to the centre via an inspector after his needs were not getting met. Due to his traumatic past, Scott will need adopters who are very patient with him and will let him settle in his own time. His adopters will need to give him lots of time and space so he can adjust to home life in his own time. It may take quite some time for him to overcome his insecurities and learn to trust people but the centre feel he deserves that chance. He deserves to be loved and cherished which something he has never had the joy of experiencing. Photo: RSPCA
8. Giorgio and Dior
Giorgio and Dior are sweet rabbits who came to the centre via an inspector. They are lovely cheeky little rabbits who will be wonderful additions to the family. Giorgio and Dior are suitable to live with children aged 8 years and over. They are looking for accommodation where the hutch is a minimum of 6ft with an attached run of a minimum 8ft. Photo: RSPCA
