9. Wendy
Wendy is a three-year-old Shih Tzu Cross who came to the centre via an inspector after she was found abandoned in a field along with two other dogs in the most appalling condition. Understandably, the neglect and abuse inflicted on her by her previous owners has left her very nervous of both people and new situations and surroundings. With lots of TLC and patience, Wendy is slowly learning to trust and starting to enjoy life. Her adopters will need to give her as much time as she needs to settle in to a home environment and become the loving pet we know she can be. Photo: RSPCA
