The appeal is aiming to raise the £15,500 the hospice needs to fund the extra day of care this leap year.

As part of this, Saint Michael's is offering you the chance find out more about the services it offers.

Saint Michael's Hospice is holding drop in sessions for people to find out more about its services.

If you are living with terminal illness or bereavement, or you have a family member or friend who is, and you want to find out more about Saint Michael’s Hospice, then the charity’s drop-in afternoons may be for you.

They offer people the opportunity to visit the hospice and find out information about the care and support the charity offers.

The sessions take place at Saint Michael’s, Crimple House, Hornbeam Park Avenue, every Tuesday and Wednesday, between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.

You don’t need to be referred by your doctor or health provider to attend and you don't need to book.

On arrival you will be welcomed by the hospice’s volunteer receptionists and staff will be available to talk to you about your care and support needs and what’s available to you. Carers and family members are also welcome to attend.

There is free parking at the hospice.
