Harrogated hosted the popular song contest in 1982 at the Convention Centre. Sally Ann Triplett and Stephen Fischer performed One Step Further under the name Bardo, finishing seventh in the competition.
2. It has the last Turkish Baths
The Turkish Baths in Harrogate is one of the last working Turkish baths in the country, dating back to the 19th century.
3. Agatha Christie was found here
