Although social distancing rules are still in place in churches, Knaresborough Anglicans have announced they are to hold Prayer Vigils for HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, this Friday, April 16 at two local churches.

The Parish Church of St John the Baptist in Knaresborough and The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin in Goldsborough will be open to all as a place for reflection and peace this Friday from 6pm to 7pm.

To remember and celebrate the life of HRH Prince Phillip, they are offering an opportunity to pray for his family and for his memory.

Although unable to offer physical books of condolence in line with Covid restrictions, they are inviting people to sign an online book of remembrance via https://www.knaresboroughanglicans.org.uk/
