But visitors are being warned must pre-book online because of reduced on-site capacity as the estate strives to deal with social distancing.

“Our team is looking forward to welcoming our Members and visitors back to over 120 acres of open spaces, with a new temporary natural outdoor play area (allowing for distancing), access to the gardens and bird garden, shop, and Grab n Go food and drink from the Courtyard Café,” said a spokesman.

“We have had to reduce our on-site capacity, so all visitors must book online to ensure the safety of everyone at Harewood.”

A limited number of tickets are available to non-Members during our Member Priority Week – from June 29 to July 5. Tickets for the week starting Monday July 6 will be available from Thursday July 2, and then every Thursday for the following week.

The house, adventure playground, Curiosity Cabin and Bothy will remain closed until government legislation allows and safe to open.
