Roy Cawthra was the lucky winner of our pre-Christmas prize put forward jointly by Bellway Homes and Wetherby Golf Club.

And when he visited Bellway’s Spofforth Park development in the town today he said he couldn’t wait for golf courses to reopen after Lockdown so he could get back to the game he loves playing.

Bellway Homes’ Yorkshire sales manager, Emma Fitton Cook, said: “We’re delighted for Roy and hope he’ll enjoy his prize when himself and his friends are safely able to play golf again. One positive of the wait for him is that hopefully by the time they play their four-ball the weather should be an awful lot warmer!”

Bellway Homes’ Spofforth Park development is located just off the A661 Harrogate Road.
