Children’s entertainer Sandra Wallis has turned to writing to provide fun for children during the pandemic.

The Boston Spa mum launched her activities online a month into lockdown but has now published How to Host the Perfect Kids Party.

Sandra explained: “My business has crashed and burnt during COVID-19.

“Entertainers have not been able to work since March unless in gardens or outside venues with social distancing rules, no music and only five guests.

“Many of us have had to diversify hence the reason for me writing my new book.”

And Sandra, who started her Big Events Entertainment business in 2004, is working on a children’s book - The Adventure of Captain Cassie.

“The book has video links to the actual characters in the book which are performed by myself and each video complements the story and brings the characters to life,” added Sandra. “Readers will use my unique QR codes to see Captain Cassie brought to life.
