Celebrity visits to one of North Yorkshire's most picturesque hotels puts it in UK top ten for social media
A top hotel near Harrogate accustomed to celebrity visits is taking Instagram and TikTok by storm.
New analysis of the most picturesque hotels in the UK coordinated by SuomiCasino shows that Grantley Hall ranks fifth in the whole UK for the number of Instagram and TikTok posts.
Located near Ripon and Harrogate, the five-star luxury retreat received 20,900 Instagram posts and 1,273 mentions on TikTok.
SuomiCasino compiled a list of over 100 hotels across the UK and Europe, analysing the number of Instagram and TikTok posts where each hotel’s hashtag was used.
The survey highlights which hotels travellers are sharing and raving about online.
The Ritz Paris ranks as Europe’s most picturesque hotel. Known for its timeless elegance and rich heritage, the iconic hotel has inspired more than 107,000 Instagram posts and nearly 4,700 TikTok mentions.
But Grantley Hall, which was built in around 1680 as a grand country home in the Palladian style and opened as a luxury hotel in 2019 with 47 rooms and suites, is among the very top hotels.
The internationally-acclaimed destination has seen a steady flow of star visits, including Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Ryan Reynolds, Patrick Bamford, Megan McKenna, and Henry Cavill.
