AGEING WELL: Wetherby Local Care Partnership (Bramham, Collingham, Wetherby, Crossley Street, Spa Surgeries) are a group of health, wellbeing, and care professionals from across the NHS, Leeds City Council and Third Sector and community organisations. They are working together to make sure that the people of Wetherby and the surrounding areas get joined-up care to support them to live independently and well. They are doing a piece of work around ‘ageing well’. To help them with this they want to hear from local people about their experience of ageing. They don’t need any personal details and any information given will be combined with information they get from other local people to help them build a picture of what is good about the local area and what could be better. https://forms.gle/kzpAd1jRHckYwEP69 To take part in the survey use the link and answer the questions.

LOCAL ENERGY INITIATIVE: Keith Jackson said that the potential benefits of this Boston Spa-based project are enormous. It has received very positive reaction from Northern Powergrid (NPg) and large-scale resources have been allocated. Next week NPg is launching its Festival of Innovation and top of the bill is ‘Boston Spa Energy Efficiency Trial’ – The BEET project.
