Following the unforgettable 2024 event, which saw 400 guests come together to raise an astonishing £1 million, the charity is setting the same ambitious target for this year.

Generous donations enabled the delivery of over 10,000 essential winter items and 6,000 festive gifts to more than 150 primary schools across Yorkshire, providing warmth, comfort, and festive cheer to children living in destitution.

Charlotte Farrington, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Yorkshire Children’s Charity, said: "A Night Under the Stars has allowed us to collectively do something significant for our children and the communities that we support – and when one in three children in Yorkshire live in poverty, the need has never been greater.

“Our annual winter support campaign relies on the funds raised at these events, and we are so humbled by the ongoing generosity of our philanthropic supporters who continue to put their hands up for the families in our communities who are most in need.

“This support is about so much more than just keeping children warm. It ensures children can arrive at school warm, dry and ready to learn, supporting their ability to attend school regularly, stay engaged in learning, and improve educational outcomes.”

In 2024, the event was headlined by pop sensation Olly Murs, and organisers are promising another star-studded evening in 2026.

There will be live performances from Gabrielle and Fleur East, alongside a DJ set from radio presenter Mark Wright and much more.

The black-tie event will be hosted in the stunning English Marquee Company Orangerie, with the support of Royal Warrant holder Johnny Roxburgh Designs Limited – making it one of the most sought-after social events of the year.

Charlotte added: “As a charity, we truly believe that when you give people the opportunity and platform to do good, they will meet your needs tenfold.

"This event is first and foremost about bringing together philanthropic people to create a platform for change.”
