Pateley Bridge greengrocers raided

A family-run greengrocers in Pateley Bridge was raided and thieves made off with large quantity of cigarettes and cash.

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Pateley Bridge.

Police received a call at around 5.15am today (Thursday, March 10) to report a burglary at Park View Stores in Bridgehouse Gate.

The incident happened overnight between Wednesday, March 9 and Thursday, March 10.

The offenders gained entry via forcing a side window. A large quantity of cigarettes and an amount of cash was stolen from the shop.
