Pateley Bridge’s annual duck race braved threatening weather forecasts and went ahead over the Bank Holiday weekend.
All 1000 tickets were sold for the race, which raises money for the maintenance of Pateley Bridge Millennium Green.
The ducks were launched into the River Nidd close to the town’s weir, behind Riverside Caravan Park, on Sunday, August 26 at 2pm.
Families watched as the plastic ducks raced to the bridge further downstream.
First prize of £100 went to duck number 90, bought by Jamie and Holly of Norwich.
Second prize of £50 was on by duck 504, third prize of £25 to duck 202.
Two further prizes of £10 each went to ducks 52 and 499, and a £5 prize went to duck 673.
Pateley Bridge Millennium Green Trust, who organise the race, said after paying for the hire of the ducks and printing tickets the day raised more than £700 for the Trust.
