Church Services: for Sunday, October 20 St Robert’s Pannal: 8am Holy Communion, 9.30am Parish Communion, 6pm Evening Worship. St Michael and All Angels’ Beckwithshaw: 6pm Evensong.

Beckwithshaw Village Hall: coffee morning takes place on Tuesday, October 22 from 10-11.30am. Come along for coffee or tea and cake plus a raffle ticket for £2.

Community Tea Party: this will be held at Pannal Methodist Church, Spring Lane,on Tuesday, October 22 between 2.30-4pm. All are welcome.

Pannal Village Hall AGM: the village hall AGM will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday, November 5 in the main hall. Pat Fitzgerald will present his annual report and accounts on behalf of the management committee and tea and coffee will be served from 7.15pm onwards.

Silver Surfers: the Pannal Silver Surfers computer club, who meet at the village hall every other Wednesday morning, are now actively seeking more members, especially novices, who are looking for help with any aspect of computing or trouble shooting. It is very relaxed and good fun, so just come along for a taster session. The next meeting will be at 10am on October 30.

Pannal School Sports results: Pannal swimming team (Years 4/5/6) came second in the recent gala so are now through to the final of the inter schools swimming gala at the Hydro on Tuesday, October 22. Well done to all concerned!

Footnet Sports: is back again in the half term holiday on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 29 and 30 at Pannal School. Multi-Sports are on offer this time including netball, mini basketball and kwik cricket. Times are from 10am-2.30pm and is suitable for boys and girls aged 6-12 years. The cost is £15 per day or £28 for both days.
