It's an exciting weekend for many as some lockdown restrictions are lifted and pubs, bars and restaurants can open their doors again.

But social distancing rules and increased safety guidelines are still in place, meaning your first pint in a months could look a little different.

Here are all the rules you will have to follow when heading to a pub or a restaurant.

Increased cleaning of toilets and set guidelines of use.

Strict limits on number of customers allowed in at any one time to ensure social distancing.

Staff will patrol beer gardens to ensure social distancing is being observed.

Napkins and cutlery will only be brought out with food and single-use paper menus will replace laminated menus.
