My brother told me he remembers seeing red squirrels in the Pinewoods. I wonder where they are now?

I have read there are some near Hawes but that is quite a distance away.

I also read that a water company in Harrogate is trying to expand and in doing so it would be taking down trees that are already existing. This means that all the good intentions of preserving what is good are being taken away for creating more waste and more plastic.

Would jobs make up for the lack of places to visit nature on our doorstep? And if the aquifer runs out of water will it all be for nothing?

Then I can’t help wondering who has the right to take away and send abroad the water that came naturally, making Harrogate a spa town.

Would not it be wonderful if the squirrels came back?
