Letter: Development - Club's work is ruining summer

For the last number of weeks they have been preparing to lay an artificial turf. This work has been going on from 8am until late afternoon.

I have now been told that the work is not due to be completed for another six weeks.

There is a constant loud banging noise from one of the machines, there are lorries delivering and other loud mechanical noises throughout the day.

The noise is such that it has made it very unpleasant to sit out in our garden, thus we are missing out on the beautiful summer days have been experiencing.

No communication has been forthcoming from the club, before it started or during the works or even a word of apology for the inconvenience and disruption that has been received.
