Opening date for new Everyman cinema in Harrogate

Harrogate's new Everyman cinema now looks unlikely to open before autumn.

It had been hoped the four-screen complex would be ready for summer - or even Easter - but the company now says it's aiming to launch in September 2016, subject to change.

Best known for swapping the traditional cinema seat and popcorn in favour of comfy sofas and pizzas, the new multi-screen Everyman will be situated in the former site of the now demolished Beales department store at the corner of Albert Street and Station Parade.
