Only in Yorkshire: Police stop driver carrying sheep in boot
Well as rare as this sight may be it was one which North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group stumbled upon yesterday evening (Wednesday, August 5).
Police stumbled across the slightly unusual spectacle after pulling the driver of the offending Peugeot 206 over for having two bald tyres.

The car was stopped by police shortly after a visit to Leeming Bar services where the driver, and passenger, stopped for a quick McDonald’s.
Early reports that the driver enjoyed a Big Mac while the sheep grazed on the grass outside are currently unconfirmed.
