Christmas Fair: Oatlands Infants School, Hookstone Road, will be holding their annual Christmas fair on Saturday, December 7 from 10-noon. It is a traditional Christmas fair with lots of stalls, including crafts and home-made produce, a raffle, a tombola, a secret shop and a Santa’s grotto. Everyone is very welcome so please come along and join us for some traditional festive fun.

Coffee Morning: there will be a coffee morning at Oatlands Community Centre, Mount Street on Saturday, December 14 from 10-11.15am. Please come along and join us for coffee and mince pies. There will be a cake stall and raffle. This month we are supporting the Young Carers group at the Carers Resource Centre.

Charity Event for Leeds Children’s Hospital Fund: on Saturday, December 14, there will be a charity event at the Manhattan Snooker Club, Beech Avenue, Harrogate to raise money for Leeds Children’s Hospital Fund. There is an entrance fee of £3.50 which includes a coffee and cake and your donation to the appeal. The money raised will go towards making the children’s stay in hospital better, especially over the Christmas period. There will be coffee, cakes, mince pies, a few games for children to take part in, soft play area, bouncy castle and fingers crossed an appearance from Minnie Mouse! There will also be local people selling their beautiful handmade items, a face painter, tombola and a raffle with some fab prizes. Everybody is very welcome to come along even if it’s just for a coffee and mince pie.

Oatlands Mount Club: on Saturday, December 14 at Oatlands Mount Club it is the senior members Christmas party from 2-5.30pm, featuring Mannix with the sounds of Elvis, Sinatra, Deano and many more. There will also be a buffet, raffle and Play Your Cards Right. For more information please call 01423 871534.

Live Music: Oatlands Mount Club also have two evenings of live music planned during December. On Sunday, December 8 Midnight, a top male/female duo will be performing and on Sunday, December 22 it will be Mark Turver who will be performing music from the 60s and 80s.
