Wine Tasting Evening: Oatlands Community Centre will be holding a Call My Bluff Fun Tasting Evening hosted by Ake and Humphris on Friday, November 22 from 7.30pm at the community centre. Tickets are just £15 per person and will include tasting of a red, white, sparkling and rose wine plus two types of beer. The ticket price also includes a fish and chip supper. There will also be a licensed bar. All the monies raised on the evening will go to the Oatlands Community Centre. It is a very relaxed and fun evening and everyone is very welcome so please come and join us. St Mark’s Christmas Fair: on Saturday, November 23 from 3-5.30pm St Mark’s are holding their Christmas Fair to support a number of charities including St Mark’s Uniformed Groups, St Mark’s Bookstall, Leprosy Mission, Neema Crafts, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Traidcraft, Young Offenders, El Alfarero and Compassion and Wellspring. There will be a variety of stalls, refreshments and musical entertainment. Everyone is very welcome so please come along and help us support these charities.
Oatlands Preschool Christmas Fair: on Saturday, November 30 from 2-4pm, Oatlands Preschool will be holding their annual Christmas Fair at the Community Centre, Mount Street. It is a great festive event with lots of stalls, Christmas gifts, cards and of course a very special guest.
Date for the Diary: Oatlands Infants School, Hookstone Road, will be holding their Christmas Fair on Saturday, December 7 with Santa’s Grotto, secret shop, craft stalls, tombola and homemade produce stall. More details will be in next weeks column.
