After creating the artwork, invitations, decorations and flowers for the occasion, the children hosted their own ceremony.
They took on roles as the vicar, flower-bearer, photographer, Queen, congregation and, of course, bride and groom.

Hide AdNursery teacher Miss Phillip said: “It all came about after a number of the children had shown interest in the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan, so we decided to hold a royal wedding of our own.
“The children helped with ideas for all the preparations, and after the official ceremony in the morning they spent the rest of the day re-enacting the event in-role as part of their independent play.
“The staff work hard to build the curriculum around the interests of the children, and this results in a high level of engagement. The enjoyment of the wedding was evident on the children’s faces.”
